K3 English Communication Sheet, January 10-14

þ SuperKids Conversation Book: In a Toy Store, pages 38-39

þ Vocabulary words: yo-yos, balloons, books, kites, paintbrushes, watches, these, those 

þ Learn English with Dora:  Food, pages 40-43

þ Vocabulary words:  birthday, cake, bounce, presents, muddy, bear, castle, snatch

This week in SuperKids continued with when to use “these” and “those”.  

In Dora, we went on an adventure with Dora and Boots to help get birthday cakes.  The story taught us about teaching and helping friends. We also practiced singing Happy Birthday and how to ask for food. 

Phrases to practice at home:

Those are paintbrushes.

These are balloons.

These are comic books. 

Happy Birthday to you.

Can I have some cookies, please? 

Can I have some apples, please?
