This week in SuperKids we practiced common phrases and vocabulary from Units 1-3.    In Dora, we sang a song about a birthday party.  We also reviewed the vehicles we learned in Unit 3. Phrases to practice at home: How are you?  I’m great.  And you? What’s the weather like?  It’s snowy. What’s that?  This is my cat. I’m so excited!  I can’t wait! I have a bus.  Let’s go by bus. Let’s go by fire engine.

This week in SuperKids we practiced asking our friends about the weather and drawing pictures.   We also sang a song about friends and what to say when we meet new friends. In Dora, we helped celebrate Green, the truck’s birthday.  Dora and Boots had to help clean up the flooded park. Phrases to practice at home: What’s the weather like?  It’s sunny. Nice to meet you, ____________.  I’m _____________. Let’s help to clean up. We did it!

We will be singing "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" for Christmas.  Please help your child practice at home.  Thank you.

Phrases to practice at home: I see a black cat.  I will wear a hat.  It’s a can.  It’s a sad cat. Let’s go by airplane.  Let’s go by truck.

This week in SuperKids we continued reviewing the weather.   In Dora, we completed Units 1 and 2.  We started Unit 3 and learned about vehicles.  To complete our shapes unit, the students made a dog from different shapes!  We had a lot of fun with this activity. Phrases to practice at home: What’s the weather like? It’s windy.  It’s cool. Open your umbrella.  Close your umbrella. Put on your raincoat. I see an airplane.  I see a truck.  Do you see a fire engine?
