Week of November 1-5

K3 English Communication Sheet, November 1-5

þ  SuperKids Conversation Book: Weather, pages 20-21

þ  Vocabulary words: put on, open, walk, jump, close, raincoat, boots, umbrella, rain, puddle, weather

þ  Learn English with Dora:  pages 20-21

þ  Vocabulary words: truck, fire engine, bus, airplane, boat, hot air balloon

This week in SuperKids we continued reviewing the weather.  

In Dora, we completed Units 1 and 2.  We started Unit 3 and learned about vehicles.  To complete our shapes unit, the students made a dog from different shapes!  We had a lot of fun with this activity.

Phrases to practice at home:

What’s the weather like? It’s windy.  It’s cool.

Open your umbrella.  Close your umbrella. Put on your raincoat.

I see an airplane.  I see a truck. 

Do you see a fire engine?

    I see. Leo brought his homework which a dog is made of different shapes and color. Hope our little ones enjoy that cut-and-paste activity while coloring their owned dogs.
