This week in SuperKids we learned about the different actions to go through when purchasing food.  We also practiced saying what foods we want.     In Dora, we covered pages 50-51 in the Student book and completed our unit about Weather.  We then spent time working on pages 48-51 to complete our Activity book. Phrases to practice at home: I want noodles.  We want soup. What do you want?  I want chicken.  We want French fries.  What’s the weather like?  It’s cloudy. It’s good to work together.

This week in SuperKids we learned eating out and different types of food. Students shared with me their favorite foods and what they would like to order.    In Dora, we are reviewing weather.  We also went on an adventure with Dora and Diego to work together to help the animals. Phrases to practice at home: Can you use chopsticks?  Yes, I can.  No, I can’t.  Can you? What do you want?  I want noodles. I like spaghetti and ice cream. What’s the weather like?  It’s hot.  It’s sunny.

Welcome back to school! þ Learn English with Dora:  Weather þ Vocabulary words:  sunny, windy, rainy, cloudy, hot, cold

We only got a chance to work on our Dora books after completing our CVC workbook over the winter holiday.   Since we had previously learned about weather, we will use this unit as a review. Phrases to practice at home: It’s sunny outside. I like cold weather.
